For most of my life, I felt comfortable in my own skin.
I was born with a port wine stain birthmark on my right temple. Growing up, it was simply a part of me. It didn’t define me and it didn’t hold me back.
But over time—through reaching adulthood, pregnancies, and the natural changes that come with both—my birthmark grew in size. Quietly, almost without realising it, my relationship with myself and my birthmark began to change.
I started to hide it in photos.
I styled my hair to cover it.
I avoided really looking at myself in the mirror.
It wasn’t dramatic or sudden—just a gradual shift away from the ease and confidence I used to feel.
In the last three years, I’ve had treatment to reduce the size of my birthmark. This transformation has opened up something deeper: a process of reconnecting with myself and the part of my face I had slowly turned away from.
I am just at the beginning of coming home to myself and I have so much more to discover and embrace. This space is part of that process.
It’s about soft living for busy women reconnecting with themselves —creating a life that feels calmer, simpler, and more supportive, even in the middle of real life.
Because I’ve come to realise that feeling good in your own skin isn’t about fixing everything all at once. It’s about how you live day to day. The pace you keep. The routines you return to. The bravery to show up for yourself again and again even when it’s hard or scary.
I share my story and the simple, realistic habits that have helped me feel more like myself again—through birthmark treatment and everyday rhythms. Nothing extreme. Nothing perfect. Just my journey.
You’ll also find the things I genuinely use and love—because over time I’ve come to believe in fewer, better choices that truly support how we want to feel.
If you’re looking for a gentler way to live, and a way back to yourself, you’re in the right place.
